There are seven NBA games tonight, including two which will be nationally televised on TNT. One of those two games features the Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves meeting for the fourth time this season. Elsewhere, Keyonte George will look to continue his hot shooting against the Boston Celtics.

Friday’s Best NBA Player Prop Bets
Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook | This Season: 41-62 (-23.56 units)
Keyonte George Under 25.5 Points + Assists + Rebounds (-115)
If you disregard the six minutes he played against the Washington Wizards, George’s last two performances have been very impressive. George dropped 29 points in Saturday’s loss to the Denver Nuggets, one week after dropping 31 against the Miami Heat. Lauri Markkanen is out tonight, and it’s clear that oddsmakers are expecting George to pick up the slack.
However, George is about to face one of the best defensive teams in the NBA. And though George has been phenomenal in his last few games, he’s still only averaging 12.3 points per game. Even if he does score at a high rate tonight against the Celtics, he won’t pull down enough rebounds or dish out enough assists to go over this number.
Anthony Edwards Under 30.5 Points (-115)
Anthony Edwards has faced the Clippers three times this season and only once has he topped 30 points. That performance came in the first meeting between these two teams when Edwards went for 33. Since then, he’s scored 23 and 27 against the Clippers.
Numerous key players from each team are questionable for tonight’s game, but this number is too high no matter who steps on the court. Edwards is averaging 26.3 points per game, and though he can score in the 40s, the Clippers are top 10 in the league in scoring defense.
Ivica Zubac Over 8.5 Rebounds (-115)
Ivica Zubac has faced the Timberwolves twice this season, and he’s had two very different performances. In the first matchup, he scored six points and pulled down 11 rebounds. In the second, he had just two points and two rebounds.
Tonight, Rudy Gobert may not play due to hamstring soreness. If Gobert is unable to go, Zubac’s task will be much easier. But even if Gobert does play, we expect many missed shots in this game. Therefore, we will back Zubac’s rebound total.
