The eyes of the college football world turn to the Big Apple tonight as the four Heisman trophy finalists – LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels, Oregon quarterback Bo Nix, Ohio State wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., and Washington quarterback Michael Penix Jr. – gather for the 89th presentation of the sport’s most prestigious individual award.
The ceremony will be held at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Appel Room, with ESPN’s Chris Fowler hosting for the 30th consecutive year. The latest Heisman odds indicate there is no debate about who will be heading home with the trohpy tonight.
Let’s take a peak at the updated Heisman odds ahead of Saturday’s college football MVP ceremony.
Heisman Odds
Player (Team) | Odds |
---|---|
Jayden Daniels (QB, LSU) | -1400 |
Michael Penix Jr. (QB, Washington) | +1200 |
Bo Nix (QB, Oregon) | +2500 |
Marvin Harrison Jr. (WR, Ohio State) | +25000 |
Daniels is a massive -1400 favorite in the latest Heisman odds, which means sportsbooks project there is a 93% chance he will win the trohpy.
The sportsbooks took down betting on the Heisman Trophy after voting for the award ended on Monday, but the table above displays the latest odds before they were taken down.

How to Watch the Heisman Ceremony
The Heisman ceremony airs live on ESPN tonight at 8 PM Eastern. Viewers can also stream the event on ESPN+ or FuboTV. ESPN host Kevin Negandhi revealed the top 10 vote-getters at 9 PM Friday night on a Heisman finalists special.
Daniels Clear Favorite in Heisman Odds
Jayden Daniels has emerged as the heavy betting favorite after a stellar senior season leading the Tigers. The transfer from Arizona State threw for 3,812 yards and 40 touchdowns with just four interceptions, leading LSU to an SEC West title.

Daniels’ accuracy, decision-making, and dual-threat abilities landed him SEC Offensive Player of the Year honors. His 1,134 rushing yards in particlar and 10 touchdowns on the ground set him apart from all the other quarterbacks this season.
If Daniels claims the trophy tonight, and the odds suggest he most certainly will, he would join Billy Cannon and Joe Burrow as LSU’s Heisman winners. He’d also become the first quarterback since Lousiville’s Lamar Jackson to win the trophy on a team with at least three losses.

Does Any Heisman Longshot Stand a Chance?
Going off the latest betting odds, sportsbooks don’t expect any of the remaining finalists to have a legit chance of pulling off the upset. Oregon’s Bo Nix was the betting favorite entering conference championship, but his odds faded to +2500 after losing to Washignton for the second time this season.
Nix likewise enjoyed a breakout year in his second season since transferring to Oregon. He racked up 4,145 passing yards and 40 touchdowns while limiting mistakes, tossing just three picks all year. His TD-to-INT ratio of 13.3 led the nation. Unfortunately, he needed to win the conference to clinch the trophy, as his stats just aren’t on Daniels’ level.
One for the record books 👏

Harrison Jr. and Penix Jr. round out the impressive finalist group. Harrison Jr. was a force in the Ohio State receiving corps, hauling in 67 catches for 1,211 yards and 15 touchdowns. His big-play ability helped the Buckeyes average over 44 points per game.
Penix Jr., meanwhile, directed the Washington offense to perfection, going 13-0 while passing for over 4,200 yards and 33 touchdowns. Heisman voters were impressed with all four finalists’ production and leadership, but no player made the type of impact that Daniels did for the Tigers.
Daniels has already won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, SEC offensive player of the year by the Associated Press, and The Associated Press college football player of the year. The betting odds suggest the Heisman will be the next award added to that list.
