One of the marquee matchups on Wednesday features a battle between up-and-coming Newcastle and visiting Paris Saint-Germain. Kickoff for this match is set for 3:00 p.m. ET from St. James’ Park in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in England. 

Eddie Howe’s Magpies seem to be finding their form once again as they’ve rattled off three consecutive victories since a 0-0 draw with AC Milan in their UCL opener. Each win was notable as Newcastle smoked Sheffield United 8-0 in the Premier League, beat Manchester City 1-0 in a Carabao Cup match, and most recently, handled Burnley 2-0. 

While Newcastle hasn’t conceded across its last five competitions, I think that changes against the French powerhouse, PSG. Over their last six matches, the Parisians have netted 15 goals (2.5 GPG). It has been none other than superstar Kylian Mbappé leading the charge, scoring seven times in six Ligue 1 matches along with tallying one against Dortmund in their UCL opener. There will be a ton of offensive talent on the pitch in this one, so I’ll bump the total up to 3.0 goals with a plus-money payout.
